Music is Carole's passion. Carole believes that music is an amazing force that is a bridge between people, uplifting them and connecting them to the resonant beauty within each. This discovery was realized at an early age. Throughout the years, the love of music and the understanding of it's power has guided Carole to devote her life to its creation.
Carole's deep involvement in music and a spiritual life are a natural combination. She is active with the Center for Transformational Studies and the Alohem Center for Transformation. Combining the love of both music and a heart-centered life she is a certified Music Practitioner (CMP) employed by two hospices and a hospital in Washington state. She brings music to the bedside of those who are ill, birthing or transitioning. The use of therapeutic music adds beauty and comfort to these life situations. Carole is the Washington State Coordinator for the Music for Healing and Transition Program and teaches many classes around the United States for the organization.
Carole received her BA from the University of the Pacific, MA from Occidental College and her Doctorate of Spiritual Studies from the Alohem Center for Transformational Studies. Her book, In Quest of Answers : Interviews with American Choral Conductors, is published by Hinshaw Music, Inc. She has three CDs registered at www.cdbaby.com/cd/caroleglenn3
In addition to her musical activities, Carole enjoys photography and traveling. During the past few years she has traveled to Tibet, Nepal, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, India, Korea, and China as part of her spiritual exploration.
